Octreotide Acetate
Octreotide is a somatostatin analog that acts as a potent inhibitor of growth hormone, glucagon, and insulin. It is used in the treatment of acromegaly and bleeding gastroesophageal varices among other therapeutic applications. Octreotide GP-Pharm is presented in different doses: in packs of 5 ampoules of 1mL (50 µg/ml, 100 µg/ml and 500 µg/ml) or as a multidose vial of 5mL (200 µg/ml).
