Depot Formulations
GP Pharm owns a proprietary technological platform based in the use of PLGA microspheres containing triethyl citrate to modulate a sustained drug release. This platform allows encapsulation of LHRH analogues and other peptides. GP Pharm has adapted the microsphere composition for each specific product to achieve an optimal drug release profile. The efficacy of these formulations has been tested in vitro, in cellular cultures, animal models and in humans.

Leuprolide Depot (Lutrate):This product is in on going stage of clinical development for 3 months formulation and for the 1 month formulation is already finalized. An international multi-cente phase III clinical trial in prostate cancer is currently undergoing, with centers either in US and Europe. |
