ASEBIO's members hold 50 meetings with american companies in New York

The Biocompanies Spanish Asociation (ASEBIO) set last March the 23rd a meeting between Sanish and Amercian Biotech Companies in New York in order to strengthen bonds for future comercial relationships.         The event targeted to explore oportunities of collaboration and strategic aliances in the field of biotechnology to improve cooperation between both countries. To organize this meeting ASEBIO counted with New York Academy of Sciences, del New York Export Assistance Center (belonging to the U.S. Department of Commerce), del New Jersey Technology Council, EE.UU. ambassy in Spain and ICEX.         Representatives from spanish companies, leading by ASEBIO's President, Mr José María Fernández Sousa-Faro, and Genera Secretary, Ms Isabel García Carneros, were composed by companies such as, PharmaMar, del grupo Zeltia, Genetrix, Grupo P-Value,  Eurogalenus, Palau Pharma, 3P BIO, Thrombotargets, Alphasip, Clave Mayor, Oryzon Genomics and GP Pharm, from Lipotec Group.

          A total of 50 meetings were held between members of ASEBIO and Biotech companies and institutions in New York that attend to this meeting, that in addition to able to stablish contacts with American homologues, also allowed to present the different business lines of the spanish companies and its activities in within the Spanish Biotech Sector.
