Antonio Parente is the new presiden of CataloniaBIO

The board of directors of CataloniaBio (Catalan Association of Biotechnologies Companies) has appointed Antonio Parente (President of GP Pharm) new president for the next four years. Parente, who substitutes Carlos Buesa, is co-founder and general director of Lipotec, one of the most emblematic company groups of the BioRegion of Catalonia. CataloniaBio was set up in 2006 and from twenty founding members, today groups 65 biotechnological companies. The headquarters are placed in the Scientific Park of Barcelona (PCB).
